Up | Steven & Huei Min

We travelled to some favourite places of mine in Clearwater Sanctuary & Kellie's Castle to do this series. Steven & Huei Min are both from Seremban, so we have to do a little bit of travelling up North to my hometown in Ipoh. Spent the night over and we started our shoot fairly early.

We had a little inspiration from the Pixar animation "Up" for the first part of this series. Steven & Huei Min were keen to implement some of the idea from "Up" animation into the shoot. We prepared a lot of props such as balloons, books, bow-tie, picnic clothm basket, bottled drink and letterbox! And I absolutely love Huei Min's gowns, simple & elegant!

Andrew & Pamella both lives in Perth, Australia. They come back to Malaysia to attend a friend's wedding, and took some time off to have their pre-wedding photos taken as well. Andrew & Pamella are one of the wittiest and funniest couple I have ever met. That's why they want their pre-wedding to have no gowns, just casual and they want fun photos. I think we pretty much achieve that.

After much discussion, we finally settled for Melaka as Pamella really wanted to have some heritage buildings around. It was a pretty big entourage for the trip. Special thanks to Bowser (who drove us all the way from KL to and around Melaka), and Wario and Yoshi. All best mates of Andrew and Pamella. At the end of the shoot, we had a happy hour at the Geographer. What a fun and great day! Totally enjoyed the shoot and company. Thanks Andrew... thanks Pamella!
